Rory Gleeson is a novelist, playwright and screenwriter.
He graduated with a BA in Psychology from Trinity College Dublin, and went on to earn degrees from Oxford, The University of Manchester, and UEA. His writing has featured in The Irish Times, The Town Crier, Miscellany Magazine and Far Off Places Magazine. He was the 2019 Burgess Writing Fellow at The University of Manchester
His debut novel ROCKADOON SHORE was published by John Murray in January 2017.
His short film PSYCHIC was funded by the Irish Film Board and Sky Arts, and premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh in 2018.
His debut play Blood in the Dirt is scheduled for production in late 2019.
